Staphanie is a petite 40 lb. girl who came to the shelter young, abandoned, and pregnant. After raising her babies and finding them good homes, it is Stephanie's turn for a happy tale! She is a still a puppy herself at just under 2 years old. Stephanie is shy around new people and often gives a bark, but always responds happily to a treat. She is working on socialization in her foster home. She has learned commands such as "sit", "down" and "paw" and once she knows you, is the most loving sweetheart imaginable. Stephanie loves to go for walk and car rides. She enjoys exploring the yard and chasing birds and bugs. She has a terrier nose on her, so she will be best suited for a contained yard area. She has been in female playgroups in the shelter and always done wonderfully. She lives with 2 male pit bull terrier mixes in foster and gets along well with them. She loves to lay on the couch and watch TV and get bully rubs. Stephanie is also crate trained and housebroken.
